Visit Ireland's oldest working watermill this June and learn all about the history of mills, flour and, of course, Martry Mill.
We start the visit with a baking class, where you will make and bake bread with flour that is ground after you arrive at the mill. As your loaf bakes, you can enjoy refreshments and bread tasting. Once you're refreshed, we'll begin the tour and milling demonstration. During the tour, you'll learn about how the river is harnessed for power and how our old eel fishery used to work. You will have a freshly baked loaf of brown bread to take home with you.
Our first event of 2023 is a Bread Baking Experience on Saturday, June 10th with the first tour at 11am and the second at 3pm.
This is a ticketed event so you can book your ticket here on Eventbrite.
