Bread and Beyond at Martry Mill
We're delighted to announce that we'll be opening to the public on the 20th of August!
We had fantastic feedback on our open day last August and have been busy all year with school and group tours, so we decided to do another open day in conjunction with National Heritage Week and the Boyne Valley Food Series.
In addition to our regular tours, we'll be running a bread baking competition. Our mill doesn't have the facilities to actually bake bread, but you can pre-bake your loaf and bring it with you on the day. The bread baking competition will start at 3pm so make sure to be there by 2.45pm to take part. James will be helping Pauric White from The Forge Restaurant to judge who has the best loaf and prizes on the day.
